Beach Quilt Class Update

The Beach Quilt Class at Hobby Lobby in Daphne,AL. has ended although the students still have a few blocks to work on this summer. Paper Piecing is a great way to achieve perfect points and details that otherwise would be nearly impossible with traditional piecing. The students learned so much during this technique class and their blocks turned out incredible! What a great group of ladies! Two of them have only been quilting a couple of years and the other less than one year- WOW! I am so proud of them, they are becoming well rounded quilter’s – ready to take on any challenge!!!! Below is some of their great works!!!

Left-The first section of the sun with perfect points by Marilyn- Great Job!!!!  Right-Three blocks ready to add section two, the circular part of the sun. Blocks by Conna, Marilyn and myself.
